Established in 1963, the Cherokee National Historical Society is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization created to present an authentic and multidimensional portrait of the Cherokee people in historical and contemporary times. We would like to thank those organizations and individuals who support our heritage and ensure that our culture is preserved for generations to come.

You can be a part of our mission to preserve, promote and teach Cherokee history and culture by becoming a supporter and together we can continue to educate people worldwide.  If you have any queries about our organization or our work, please feel free to contact us. Wado!
