Cultural Outreach

Cherokee Outreach Program

The Cherokee Heritage Center’s Cultural Outreach Program is an award winning program having received the “Award of Merit” from the American Association of State and Local History.  This was the only program in Oklahoma to be acknowledged by AASLH in 2010.

The mission of the Cherokee Heritage Center is to preserve, promote and teach Cherokee history and culture.

By passing on this knowledge to all who are interested it will forever be kept alive and continue to grow and flourish. Hands-on art classes, and interactive theatrical storytelling and cultural presentations thoroughly engage each participant.
