Cultural Outreach

The Cherokee Heritage Center’s Cultural Outreach Program is an award winning program, and is funded in part by Oklahoma Humanities Council and the Cherokee Nation Tribal Council. Our outreach program serves schools in all 14 counties within the Cherokee Nation jurisdiction and their adjoining counties.

The mission of the Cherokee Heritage Center is to preserve, promote and teach Cherokee history and culture. It is a non-profit 501c3.

By passing this knowledge on to all who are interested, it will forever be kept alive and continue to grow and flourish. Hands-on art classes, and interactive theatrical storytelling and cultural presentations thoroughly engage each participant.
